Minimum Wage To Increase To €10.10 From February 1st.

The national minimum wage is set to increase to €10.10 from February 1st.

It means an employee on minimum wage who works a full 39-hour week will now earn an extra €608

The government says it’s made the increase due to strong growth in earnings across the economy and thanks to greater clarity in the UK regarding their plans for Brexit.

Meanwhile, the employer PRSI threshold will also increase to 395 euro from the start of February.
